This course is open to students who have completed at least one year of intensive Latin or two years of Latin. I may write about these courses one day. I met with the director of the program Joel Silver, who told me that if I was serious about old books, I should study Latin and take all his courses; so I took all Joel's courses and studied intensive Latin for four semesters. Taught by Professor Philip Walsh. Gallagher examines the growing influence in Latin America of a resource-hungry China, and the benefits and risks resulting from Chinese economic activity in the region. Once again, this forum seems to have gone months without a post, so since I've been using this textbook for a short while now, I decided to post and see is anyone else using it at present. Expensive for a latin american like me, but not completely impossible. These courses offer students who have not previously had the opportunity to study Greek or Latin intensive training designed to bring them from complete beginners to a point where they are able to read simple texts. However, it is not so widely known that the absolute best and most complete Latin language textbook exists on CD: Latin: an intensive course / Moreland, Floyd L. 'Elementary Latin I' is an intensive course designed to introduce you to the basic elements of the Latin language. I still felt pretty shaky, so I then worked my way through most of Moreland and Fleisher's Latin: an Intensive Course. As they introduced an intensive, 30-week certification course focused exclusively on the cuisines of Latin America; this weekend, the program's very first students will graduate, diplomas and gleaming chef whites in hand. I had the chance to take an intensive Latin course over the summer. This intensive, five-week Latin language course has two purposes: providing a continuous period of study of Latin and introducing students to the most important ancient sites of Rome and its surrounding areas. This required several months, even though I worked every day. Maybe a good deal for the next years. Reality, however, set in as I was thrust into teaching Intensive Latin (at the local university).
